Time-Waster question - Like it, but wouldn't replace it

I know we get a lot of goofy "What if", "x vs x", "Which one to buy" and so on, but it's all part of the hobby. My question is this, which knife do you have or have had that you really like(d) a lot, but if you lost it for whatever reason would not likely replace it?
Right now I'd have to say my mini Ritter. Outstanding knife, but if I were to lose it, I wouldn't be compelled to instantly replace it. There are some in my collection that I most certainly would, but that opens whole 'nuther can-o-worms. Please keep it to those knives that would likely not be replaced.

Well, anything Becker would be replaced A.S.A.P., but aside from that, I guess my CRKT M16-10KZ.
I had that knife since before I was really into Beckers, which is why I own it. The meh steel, and the fact that it's a folder are why I wouldn't feel the need to replace it.
Don't get me wrong, I love flipping that thing open and closed at my desk, but it doesn't really get used outside of opening packages or a steak knife if my BK-14 isn't available, I like it. I like it mostly because it was a gift, though.

I have a 4" CRKT M16 with aluminum scales. I like the knife but since I got it I've gotten several other knives of similar size that I like better. I've got a Manix 2 that is a nice knife with a lot of good features, but I have a Para2 and someday I hope to have a Military.

Hogue EX-01. I like the knife, but I'm not thrilled with it. Mostly the handle shape is just so-so for me.

BK2. I have a camp axe and smaller custom fixed blades that I use more. Also Spyderco Centofante 3 & Sog Spec Elite II. Nice knives but I just don't carry them that much.

It is funny how people like different knives, the hogue ex-01 is one that I bought a back up of. If I lost my zt 0551 I would not replace it, I like it but not enough to get another. I am sure many people would feel different, just like I would buy another mini griptillian if I lost my current one.

lochsa for sure. way to expensive to replace also probably my kershaw in my silverware drawer. It gets the most use of all my knives and I would love to slip a sebenza in there.:)

Svord Peasant. Definitely too expensive for what is basically a "project". Love mine (after a lot of work) but if it gets lost I'd rather keep its basics for a reasonably priced custom (Corsican shepherd style, maybe).

You're not talking about this right? $18 is hardly what I'd consider "expensive". Always wanted to try one myself, but just ordered a BK9 last night! Woot.
Never heard of a Corsica shepard, but it looks downright sexy!

It is funny, because I love my ZT0550 (basically the same knife), and would definitely replace it. I really do like the hogue, its just not as great as i thought it would be. I got the aluminum handle model, I think I might like the Gmascus better actually. I also got the 3.5" and I think the 4" would fit my hand a little better.

Sebenza, small or large. Have one of each, both LH versions. Love 'em, especially the large - classy, smooth, nothing unnecessary, but I recently got an SNG for the first time and definitely prefer it.

BM 556 in S30V. Picked it up just to try out the mini-grip. Great small, lightweight carry, and definitely lives up to the "grip" in "griptilian", but for that size in an axis lock, I just prefer the 525 or 707.

My rat 1. Great beater. Glad I bought it. I'd shed no tears if it was gone. Just buy something different or rotate another of my collection into its place.

Probably my Victorinox Yeoman Mechanic. Love it a lot and carry it every day but finding a replacement might be a bit difficult as there are only 50 of these things around.

I'm not sure there's anything I have that I WOULD run out and replace. There are so many options out there that I would probably spend a day or two yelling profanities and then look at something new.

Not expensive by itself, but too expensive for what you get (horrible f & f). For a bit more you get a flawless Case Sodbuster which can be considered downright sophisticated in comparison.
This corsican shepherd's knife, as an example. The Peasant blade with such a horn handle would be quite sexy, indeed !

My Bradley Alias 2.
A great knife, very smooth, but in the UK, not an EDC. With knives I can't EDC, I prefer a fixed blade.

Have to agree with you on the Svord, the idea is really appealing, just a shame the quality of the product is way below poor.

They are fantastic learner project knives though and the results can be spectacular.

Two knives I own, greatly respect and fond of but would not replace if lost -

Becker BK-2
Fallkniven A1

And the reason = Busse.

Any of my Gerber, Cold Steel, Opinel, or Buck knives. I've got a few of them from the 1990s, and I don't use them much any more. I also have a collection of Case Mini Copperheads - I love them, but if I lost them, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to replace the entire collection...

Griptillian.

It's a good enough knife, but it's fallen out of favor since I got back on the spyderco bandwagon. I've always liked Spyderco as a company, but only in the last year have I really been able to appreciate their offerings since I had delicas in the past (tried and tried and tried to like the lock back, and can't).

Spyderco Tenacious. It's mostly very well designed and a joy to use, but that lock is so weak that I could care less about it, and mine is a sprint run.
