Just spent the last 1 1/2 hours reprofiling the blade on my spyderco endura 4 frn. You see, my friend bought a work sharp obout a year ago and my endura needed a sharpening. I had no experience with the work sharp and my friend had very little. Off we go. When done I had a sharp knife with no tip and a dip at the base of the blade, not to happy. The knife spent the last year burried in my drawer.

Recently I purchased a edgelogix 6"x2" double sided whetstone (400/1000 grit). I have become somewhat profficient with stone sharpening since purchasing it.

1 1/2 hours later tonight and the endura 4 now has a tip, no dip and resides in my pocket hair popping sharp ready for edc. Though it can be a slow process, whetstones are my favorite way to sharpen knives. Time well wasted in my opinion!!
