Timeline for new steel types?

Hey everyone, its been a while since I posted in here! I wanted to inquire as to whether ESEE has announced an estimated time of release for the new steel line. I remember there was an announcement a few months back in which ESEE stated that they were going to offer the same knives with different steel types (440C...IIRC). If anyone knows anything that I don't, please throw me a bone! Thanks in advance for any help, and everyone have a fun & safe summer!

Shon and us got together at Blade and will probably be going forward with Stainless on one of the models this year. Not sure on timeline.

Please choose Izula as the first stainless trial. Since it is the biggest volume in your product line, it will payback the R&D cost quickest.

And from user point if view, stainless is weaker than carbon steel, but at Izula thickness and length, it would not make much different in their application. Besides, it sit in the pocket most of time, hence it might not dry properly. Stainless will be benefitial in that aspect too.

Hope stainless Izula will come out in this year. ;-)
