Hey, I thought this would be a good opportunity to share with my forum friends what happened in my life yesterday. This isn't a spydie story because I try to avoid carryin' one with me to where I work (being a bank and that I work with all women). Anyhow, the Press Release tells it all pretty much. Go to www.hcso.tampa.fl.us then click on 'Press Releases' then click on 'Release No. 04-215 with 06-16-04 Bank Robbery/Valrico State Bank-Brandon. I'm the big dude with his back to the camera. I had to fight the urge to chase and did what I've been taught in my 2 plus years of working in the banking industry. Hence, I've had a fun two days talking to investigators and keeping calm when I've been pretty fustrated that I could not go after the guy. I thank God for granting me peace of mind to do what I was suppose to and not try to chase because I probably would have ended up killing the guy or vice versa. Hence, I'm still waiting on Tampa PD. However, I do have some good connections now with HCSO, and I'm thinking about starting the process with them that way my family and I can stay in Florida. The guy turned around and robbed the Bank of America a block south of us today (same one and same MO). I hope they catch him because so far this has been his third in the area and 5th or 6th that we know he has committed in the Florida area. Well, needless to say I got my spydie back in my boot now. So I guess this was a spydie story after all! :p

Glad you're OK! I understand your frustration at not being allowed to stop the guy. But if he didn't run, or he ran but you caught him, the situation would become very complicated and messy. A guy broke into my house a few years back, while I was home. I would not want to repeat that experience. Hope the cops nail the guy soon. You never know when someone will turn more violent.
