Timothy came home this afternoon, 3 weeks and 1 day old today.

he still has a feeding tube in his belly, but is taking a lot through the bottle and from Mom. The tube is for supplemental feedings and as a precaution until he gets accustomed to eating all his food on his own.

Thanks again for all your prayers!

BTW, the genetic test did come back positive for down syndrome.

I hope the date coincidence doesn't indicate what the next few days at home will be like! :D

Well, it's great to hear he's coming home. My little girl is almost 5 months old now, and it was bad enough seeing her hooked up to all them tubes when she had jaundice. It must've been really tough on you all. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
 
Glad to hear he's home with the family. Will continue to lift you all up in prayer. Your child will bring much joy. I have a friend with special needs kids and they are just a real delight to be with.
 
Great news to get out of the hospital

& I'm sure you know by now
that Down's Syndrome/Trisomy21
is not nearly the implacable bad news once/often thought.

Every one of us has different capacities;
& most Down's Syndrome kids can learn & be
far, far more than once believed.
