"Tina" knife?

A contractor friend of mine found an old hawkbill slipjoint folding knife and gave it to me. It might be a horticultural piece, but its size makes me think it's probably seen use as a utility cutter. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me identify it.

It's a good-sized knife, with the typical reverse-curved wooden handle to accomodate the folding blade. It has nice thick full brass bolsters. The handle is plain wood with brass pins through it. The blade itself is marked "Tina" with a stylized T symbol, and is also stamped "Germany."

Any information would be appreciated.
