Tinbasher is a fellow Aussie who likes to tinker with things and make them nice. He is a talented man a nice guy as well. Here are two Busse knives that he worked on for me. I could not be happier with the job done. (Not that Busse knives need improving I just wanted something a little different)

I hope you all enjoy the pictures.

First one is a Batac LE that was polished up and the Micarta scales where replaced with beautiful wood and mosaic pins. I think the wood is jarrah (can't quite remember). He also put a swedge on for me.

This next one started life out as a Sage coated Skinny Ash1, now it's an awsome knife
He removed the original micarta scales and replaced them with polished Tiger Hide. The blade had all the coating removed, he them sanded the typical INFI dimples out to leave a satin finish and put a little swedge on for me. I wanted a user and this baby is it.

Beautiful! Tinbasher does some awesome work and that wood is a very good choice for the BATAC. It's a native hardwood right?

I'm hoping Tinbasher will enlighten us when he sees this thread. My memory is hopeless at the best of times. :)

They're fantastic!

I've never thought of the BATAC as a 'beautiful' knife before, more an ugly old working dog that gets the job done. But that one is truly a thing of beauty!

Wonderful work Tinbasher!

Giant1 - you are one lucky Hog!

That Badger looks stunning:thumbup:

Very nice work on both knives, a shame Tinbasher lives on the other side of the world....

Those are 2 really nice knives, I like the way those tiger hide handles look.
Great work Tinbasher and congrats Giant 1

Awesome job on both knives. I have held that Badger in my hot little hands and let me tell you the photo's dont do it justice! Tinbasher does fantastic work!

Wow! That is just AWESOME work! That Skinny ASH is spectacular, and I love the Badger, too! Infi takes a nice polish!

Oh my GAWD, Giant, Tin...those are stunning. That BATACLE is straight class, man. I LOVE the way the Busse logo on that is still there in the mirror finish, but kinda phantasmic. Great work, Mates. Tin...you should DEFINITELY post those over on the USN.

Thank you to everybody for the nice comments.

We are lucky to have Tinbasher amongst us in OZ.
