TiNi blades??

That would be in reference to the coating. TiNi stands for Titanium Nitride, a PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating. Far harder than steel and very thin. It has no impact on the blades performance, aside from giving it a wear resistant coating. It's unlikely to scratch but because it's usually applied to a bead blasted blade it acts like sandpaper and can pick up material from things you cut and loose change.
