Hey members:
Recently purchased a Stars and Stripes and a Hybrid Tactical both by Tinives. I have been doing research and have found Scott Self was owner of company, and has long since been out of business. Both knives have the needle bearing system versus the much cheaper speedroller system which came out later by Larry Chew. Does anyone know about how much my knives were new. One person mentioned they were about $ 1K a piece but that seems to be pretty high. I have found some posts on Google, maybe about 350-500 each. I have read nothing but good things about the construction and smoothness of action on Tinives with the ceramic bearings. What does anyone know about them? I am waiting delivery of my knives, which should be by Wednesday. Thanks very much!
