I used a Nikon 880 digital camera (3.34 megapixel) with a built-in macro setting for the close-ups & a 500 watts quartz work light. Thanks Mick & TAD for the great knife. Thanks for the pix comments.

Dang buddy! Time for me to change my digi-camera cos my SONY DSC-P1(3.34 megapixel) must be broke :D I can only imagine what you could do with a Nikon D1X w/ a 28-200mm lens

Thanks for your awesome pix.

It seems to me that Strider Knife owners have the most/best digicams as a group. You get soem awesome pix on this forum all the time.

I really like the one with the Bos stamp. You can see the diamond mark just below it.
Sweet.

Thanks again

Mick

I just GOTTA know your secrets!!!!! I would love to take photos like that!!!!! I wanna be able to put up a pic or two of My MFS ( My first Strider) as soon as it arrives from vinnie!!!! I just cannot take awesome shots like that:( :( How did you do those??? and what camera did U use?....Thanks....wolf

Well there's really no secret to it Wolf. Use a macro lens on a regular film camera or macro setting on a digital camera which I used (Nikon 880). To get sharp images with a digital camera, the megapixel should be over 3 megapixel. The way you light the knife shot is important. Some people use outdoor light. I used a 500 watt quartz work light because I get better control of the lighting effects.

Strider4112, the knife is a Mick Strider Custom with a 6 1/2 blade. I got mine from TAD. They have one listed in tan wrap with 7 1/2" blade. Check their site:
