What's the smallest knife you have ever seen? Here is a couple starters.
Spyderco police necklace, without the chain it is a cool key ring knife.
A.G. Russell ultimate pen knife.

I once made an ivory-handled drop point hunter that was less than 1/4" long. I have made a few folders that were about 3/8"-1/2" long closed. And yes, they walked and talked just like their bigger counterparts. Generally though, I've come to prefer working on a slightly bigger scale for my minis. It allows more room for detail. Sheffield style Bowies are a favorite, and I generally keep them about 1 1/2"-2 1/2" overall.

Mike Mercer makes some friggin' AWESOME minis. So do a few other local guys whose names escape me.

Any pictures?

My fave mini blade to carry is my Buck Tiny Titanium. It's a real pity that these aren't made anymore, it's a sweet little knife.

I like collecting tiny knives, probably a throw back to collecting those little 1 1/2" bowies when we went on vacation, I have some tiny folders I'll post some pics later today.

Mutt-
You'd have to be the first person I've met who actually disliked a well made mini. I can understand they may not be everyone's cup of tea, but even weapon-hating sheeple often think minis are cute. Now, if you've only ever been exposed to crappy minis that are all out of proportion, stubby, and generally ugly as hell, I wouldn't blame you.

No, I don't have any pictures of my work, except for a few snapshots where the knives are just little specks in the picture. My Aunt is really getting into photography lately, and is getting pretty good at capturing the fine detail of flowers in close-up pictures, so one of these days maybe I'll have her try a few.

Here are my "mini's"

Well, I can't post pictures, but found a few links with some glorious minis.

This site -mini arrowheads was actually the first I came across with "good" minis, after checking a dozen pages of stubby, ugly, ill-proportioned ones. And they aren't even "knives"! Go figure!

Or even look at the mini guns on the Miniature Arms Society page.

The late Mr. Vachon made some nice knives.

Without a doubt. But it's such a tough choice these days: do I buy the Vachon miniature SAK - or do I buy a new Mercedes-Benz SLR? I think they're about the same price, correct? ;)
