Tiny Blades

I'm always looking for tiny (but functional) blades. I've got a CampCo Legacy AK160RS and a Spyderco Bug. I know that there are some really nice one-off customs out there, but I'd like to keep the cost to under 50 USD each.

Also.... Is there an existing "tiny knife" pictures thread?

I used to have a SAK that measured about 1&2/3" long closed. Blade was about 1.5" long. It's just slightly bigger than the Bug... Sadly I'm not sure where it went :(

cool idea. the smallest knife i have is either the spyderco ladybug or vic classic

I've got them too, but (as you can see) the tiny folders are an entirely different class of blades. The Ladybug and the Vic Classic are (in my mind) three finger knives. The Bug and CampCo are 2 finger knives. I'm looking for 2 finger (or 1 finger) type knives.

It's out of your price range, but the Al Mar Osprey series are very nice knives.

The Benchmade Benchmite is a cute little knife, but I don't think they make them anymore.

AG Russell makes a great little fixed blade called the Hunter's Scalpel.

Thanks for the ideas. I have a Hunter's Scalpel type knife, a CRKT Carson F4-02, and I have a Benchmite. What I am looking for is much smaller, as small as (or smaller than) my Sypderco bug.

@SOC_MRN_Leon thanks for the DF2. I've got the FRN VG10 on order.

The only other small knife I know of is the Sog Micron, but that's probably too big still...

Unless of course quality isn't important.

These are super cheap, but definitely tiny

AH! Now we are talking! The SOG is looking nice, a little bit big, but very nice. As far as quality goes... quality is ALWAYS important.

I might not (at the moment) be able to afford a hand made custom, but I am very open to the concept if anyone has any in mind.

Maybe this? It's even a lockback for heaven's sake!

Using the Spyderco Bug as the size reference is going to make things very difficult. Good luck though!
