Simple as they come... a very small knife 6inch OAL of O-1 carbon steel and the handles are an industrial grade densified wood, similar to Dymondwood and Pakkawood. The sheath is strapless so it can just be chucked into a bag or pack. Just the sort of stuff I make when I get bored or when all my machines break down and I have to make something simple. Seriously, that is a great looking knife, and a very useable design.
 
I have been ona quest for the perfect coon skinning knife, and that one would be worth trying.

I'd be more than happy to "field test" it for you and give you a detailed report come spring...:)
