Here's a little Feather Damascus Leaf Dagger made from a tiny left-over piece of my first feather billet.

The 4 3/4 inch blade and hidden tang were forged fully to shape, and that's as big as it got!

Guard and collar are Damascus as well, and the file-worked accent spacers, three-piece file-worked frame, and domed pins are stainless.

The handle scales are Green/Brown Mammoth Ivory.

Paul Long made the so-cute brown leather sheath, with Rattlesnake insert, chevron over-lay, and bow-tie retainer.

Do you notice how he followed the blade shape with sheath and insert?

How sweet is that?

(The Franklin is there only to show the size, although donations are gratefully accepted!)

See you at the Arkansas Knifemaker's Show in Little Rock next February,

John

Nice one John. That's a cool blade shape and sweet damascus and ivory to match. Paul, as usual, incorporates those extra details in the leather too. Very nice.

Mighty nice. Really like the whole package!
See you in Arkansas if the creek don't rise.

Doesn't get better than that....glad that's all the steel there was! ;)

'Cute' and Paul Long in the same sentence? I'm struggling over here.... :p

There isn't one person looking at this and not saying to themselves "Man, I like that!"

I sure do. Wonderful!

Oh yes, that works. You even have nice scrap damascus John. Superb as usual. See you in Little Rock.

Not bad for leftovers, John. Was the ivory leftover too? LOL...see ya in Little Rock!

That would look REAL GOOD next to another small knife of yours in my collection.

What a nice presentation all the way around. Just beautiful. Always nice to see talented pros working at the top of their game.
