Here is what I was working on last week, before I got some more steel and decided to give it a break.
I have been wanting to make a karambit for a good while and now that I made it, I thing it ended up a little oversized... You can see a Spyderco Native along with it for size comparison.
It is 01 tool steel (my first on this steel) 7 1/2" long blade, about 6mm thick right after the handle, then tapering to zero when it gets to the tip, FFC (Full Flat Chisel) grind.
It is a very light knife. Hard to grind but very nice in the end -I´ll make more karambits soon.
I still don´t know what I will use for its handle but intend to finish it this week.
