Tiny mod on my BD30P Manix clip

I though I'd give my Manix 2 BD30P clip a refinish. It's nothing huge, but I like it a lot better than the standard shiny clip.

I started with a hand rubbed finish with 600 grit sandpaper. It looked good, but wanted a more "antiqued" finish. I resanded with 240 grit and applied a light coat of black spray paint with a cotton swab. After it dried, I resanded it again with 240 grit until I was happy with the finish.

Here's the finished product on the BD30P Manix. You can also get a good look at the texture of the G10.

Cool mod. You could always etch the clip with some Ferric Chloride.

Thanks AK. I thought about getting some etchant from Radio Shack and trying it on my old Para 2 clip. I might also pick up a tumbler and some media for stonewashing as well.

Man, I love the way that clip looks. Really adds to the knife.
