Tiny stripped screws

Hey guys i have a folder that has one small stripped screw that is holding the scales to the metal liner frame and idk how to remove it. I have removed all other screws but this one and i have been trying to turn it by turning the scales but there is lanyard hole "pipe" that stops it from moving. So can anyone help please or am i stuck with a paper weight?:(
 
I had a similar problem with my Spyderco Military. Go to the hardware store and buy a screw extractor. The work great just make sure it isn't too big.
