A few years back I recieved a Tiny Titanium # 565x as a gift. This knife has never been used and is in its box with all papers and warranty. I was thinking that it would make a great keychain knife. But now I notice that it's not available anymore. Soooo, now I dont know if I should use it or leave it in the box. Why was it discontinued? Bad seller? What do you guys think, use it or shelve it?

Woops. I just saw Rattlerxx's post with the reply about the factory burning down. I also saw mschwoeb's reply with the pics. yup, thats my knife (the small one). But the question still stands. Use it or shelve it?

Use it! I carry one every day, along with a 501, and it is a great little knife. It's going to be a very long time before it is worth more than $50, even NIB, and you'll get $50 worth of enjoyment from it in the first year you carry it. I have a special pocket sewn into the pocket of every pair of pants I have; that little vertical pocket holds my 501 in an upright position and the 565 rolls around at the bottom of the regular pocket with my car door key. Thats all I carry in my right pocket and boy does it work great. Every time someone asks to borrow a knife, I just say "large or small?".

Cool!! Thanks Vern. Thats what I wanted to hear. It's going on the ring now. If anybody disagrees they better speak now.

Speaking of the Tiny Ti Buck knife, I was wondering if anyone knows of a place to find one. I have been looking for a unique small pocket knife, and I remembered this one. I haven't been able to find out much about them, and really would be interested in aquiring one.
