Tip Down

Hi Gang- I have always liked the tip down clip on the B/E model 970. So... I asked EKI if they could install a clip on my unwaved CQC7 for tip down carry. I was just told to send it in. How cool is that? Very.

Emerson sets the bar for customer service as far as I'm concerned. I honestly don't think any other company would do that. It's one of the many reasons I love Emerson knives.

Matt- EKI place the clip just above the pivot screw. And, it does not interfere with MY grip at all.

That is so cool.

I am thinking about picking up a satin finished plain edged CQC-8, and having it de-waved and drilled for tip down carry.

I don't know what it is but I just really like the tip-down on this CQC7. I'm going to EDC this CQC7 over my HD7.
