well first a warning to collectors, if you buy busse's and do not use them you my find this thread offensive. this is your warning.
i posted this test over in the muck thread at first. now i think it belongs here.

left to right
ark
fbm (ugly betty)
pauls hatchet
n.i.p.
b-11 (mr ugly)

the ark won the penetrating test hand's down. it slide in the roof like a light saber through an ewok. there was no tip damage what so ever.

the fbm was second in punching a hole. i think the weight really helps with this one. the tip dosen't hurt either, also no damage whatsoever .

the basic was thrid, already having the tip missing did not help much. i really like the "grip", of the grip better. a lanyard is a must with with any of the chopers.
DSCF0027.jpg

taking forth the n.i.p.edit- i later looked at the car and it actually went through a thin support also. so i will be plunging this in to more thing's. still no tip damage.

chewing it's way in the cab, paul. it takes a little work to get a hole started but once ya do, look out. no tip damage, just dulling. if you strike the back of paul with some sort of baton. you get a real nice can opener.

part two-chopping

first ugly betty,

the fbm destroyed the roof. it's like hanging on to an arm powered jaws of life. not pretty but effective. also, hands down a graet "oh s*it" knife.

do not try this. chopping the roof pillar was easier than you would think. it made nice bite's in to the soft metal, and one slice in the roof. i prefer this handle for heavy, atom splitting chopping.

mmmm.....infi

next mr ugly

the basis series is what made busse combat,
a b-11 seems to slice the metal better. i also prefer this handle for shock absorbing. with an awesome "weight to chop" ratio. the b-11 is a nice beginning chopper. the cuts were cleaner, and straighter.

last paul's hatchet

one of my all time favorite piece's of ferrous stuff. it never leave's my truck unless attached to me. cuttin

-ing with paul works better with a baton of some sort's. i prefer it in the kitchen, and as a camp axe. it held up well though for the beating it took. and the handle is very nice to work with. you can do everything from flip your pancakes to skinning tree rat's.

ok this was suppose to be after the roof test.

all in all it was a nice way to strip paint from a car. i think i know where a mini van is. maby a custom chop, i'm open to some idea's.

the edge took this pretty well. i wasn't easy on it. for the record, i'm not trying to break it. just ribbing it a little.
