Heres a tip for ya.. Never have your fan blowing across your grinder and towards your buffer!!! I was grinding away, dipped the blade I was hollow grinding in the water, you guys know how much you concentrate when you're grinding a blade, after the second or third dip, I noticed an odd reddish orange glow in the blade and thought, "Wow, that is pretty!". I went back to grinding, then dipped the blade again, and the glow was still there. I then, for some reason, looked in the direction of my buffer. I swear, another minute, and it would have burst into flames. It's about 3 feet from my grinder.I never thought a spark could fly that far and still be hot. Needless to say I put out the smoldering buffing wheel and turned the fan off. Take care!! Michael
