First post from me, what are the advantages of blade tip up or blade tip down for a Kershaw leek.
Thanks

try using the "search" feature. It's in the blue bar near the top of the forum listing. Search for "tip up" or "tip down." You'll find that this horse has been beaten well past dead.

Oh, and tip-down is the correct carry approach.

You'll find that its mostly a preference thing. How the knife fits in your pocket, speed of draw etc etc..

I wouldn't take Gollnicks statement to heart.

Tip down for me. First time your tip up carry pocketknife slightly opens up in your hand and stabs you in the palm when you try to pull it out of your pocket, you'll probably agree with me.
