I have a new Artisan Cutlery Megahawk. I don't want to send it back for something that should be so small of a problem. The back spacer is loose behind the CF inlay. The other CF side comes off easily but the side I need to remove does not come off easily thus far. I don't believe it is glued since the one side isn't.
I open myself open to the Chinese maker comments but would appreciate any advice also. Besides this I am very happy with the knife. Thanks in advance.

So when you unscrew the screws that look like they'd be holding the inlays in place, that doesn't actually make them removable?

Yeah the freezer. The two different materials probably will contract at different rates. I will give that a try thanks.

I wil ltry to post pics later it seems I can't do so directly from my computer. There are CF inlays on each side. Two screws hold each in place. The side with the clip comes right off after the screws are removed. On the other side where the back spacers need to be tightened behind the CF it doesn't want to come off.

Well the freezer didn't work on the first try. I believe that titanium and carbon fiber are two of the least affected materials by heat and cold lol.

Unable to remove the CF inlay so I superglued the backspacer from underneath. The knife is good and tight now. Nothing visible from the outside but very disappointing to hold for me now. Shame because I actually liked it. A little purple loctite probably would have solved the issue. Thanks to all who responded.
