I just received my esee-6, and was looking for tips on using it for bushcrafting. I am used to using a koster bushcrafter, and moras, so this is a big switch. It seems I have to have the knife at a much higher angle to cut then my scandis.

If anyone has pics or tips on using the 6, please post them.

I put the sharp side against what I wanna cut, then apply pressure. :)

As with all large bushcraft knives knowing how to throw it is key.
Be it: hunting/fishing, starting a fire, building a shelter, or getting out a splinter there are few tasks a well aimed esee-6 cant handle.

and remember, if it moves...baton it.

Bonus survival points if it bounces against whatever you're aiming at sideways, right? :D
