Anyone experienced in working with stag?
I have a little project to finish off an 'unfinished' folder that I bought last year from a place in Sheffield... I have finished shaping the bolsters and rounding them off. They are stainless steel, but will look ok after I do the final polish.
Now I am ready to fit stag scales and then smooth off the whole thing.
I will be using Scottish red deer stag. I know that it is easy to work, quite soft etc.
Any special things I should watch out for???
thanks for your help
