I've had this Leek for a few years, tried the blue coating, probably shouldn't have. Over time the edges wore through giving it an outline look. This afternoon I took it apart, regreased all, and sanded down the rest of the paint to give even more of that outline look. While it was apart I experimented with some micro filework on the super thin liners. A little overkill but it was good practice, and it turned out pretty well even if I do have to take my glasses off to see it.

Very nice improvement on your user. So many good ideas on this forum. Yours is added to that list IMO.

Was the blade dragging the side of the liner like that before you worked on it? Seems awfully off center from the picture. Maybe I am seeing it wrong. After looking at it further, I realize it is the liner lock I am seeing, and not the blade. Duhh!:foot:

Blessings,

Omar

So, I had an additional thought to add a coin shield to the Buck. A couple of pieces of bronze, some filework and a couple of set screws- and no more coin jams. The added benefit is that the lite Buck feels a little more substantial.
