Its very simple either you can easily afford a sebenza or not. To me 300 is not expensive at all for such a great knife. Im tired of reading about how they are to expensive also. Life is expensive, so a days pay isnt bad for a knife. My advice, if you have the means i highly recomend picking one up. If you dont, the world needs case knife buyers too.

I'm tired of people making new posts to rant in when they are obviously talking about one still on the first page.

I'm tired of being told I can't afford a Sebenza when I have a $700 custom sitting in my collection. I can afford a Sebenza, and as such, I can afford something better.

Pfffft. A day's pay for a Sebenza. Once you're making the Phat Benjaminz like me, buying a Sebbie is like buying a cup of coffee.

Stop wasting my valuable time with your piddling remarks about how much stuff costs, I'm going swimming in my pool full of Kruggerands now.

What if you live in China and work in a factory? You really want that Sebenza, but you're not sure if it's worth a decades worth of pay, if not a life times.

If you live in China and work in a factory, I would suppose that the addition of any pocket knife (never mind a Sebenza) is the least of your worries. :( geegee

I'm sick of people posting about how they're sick of people posting about how they're sick of certain kinds of posts.

Did I get that right?

I wish I could make $300 in a single day. Well, I suppose I could, but the idea of catching an STD scares me. :D

Well get used to it bud.People have opinions and belly ache about the same subject for years.I would not even bothered to post, just ignore the negative threads.Buy it or don't,the knife sells itself.Yes, it is too much money and yes, it is worth every penny.I used to own three. My only complaint is it should come with double thumbstuds and larger easier to grab ones at that.
However;I prefer to carry the Spyderco Chinook II.It is affordable and built like a tank.It is the best bang for the buck hands down.Top quality and materials.Enjoy your Sebenzas and I'll enjoy my Chinooks, and everybodies happy. :p

P.S. Glad someones making 300.00 bucks a day.

If it bothers you so much then it probably has alot to do with your own "buyer's remorse" and the feeling that you paid too much for your Sebenza.

It's always the folks who are defensive about their choices that are in the most doubt.

Now sit back on the couch and tell me about your childhood...

Allen.

how about someone just merge the two threads? they are both on the first page and there's really no need for them both being there since they are ranting about the same thing.

to the OP:

yay for you if you can afford a sebenza, use some of that dough and buy a chill pill.

my own rant:
this is turning into the "ar vs. ak" on gunboards and "samurai vs. knight" on sword boards, one of the most pointless threads.

Afford is a funny word. Some guy making 40k with lots of debt gets $300 back from uncle sam and says "now I can afford a Sebenza".

Then there are people like me.Togather my wife and I earn into the low 100k.No credit card debt,no car payment and a $750 a month mortage. With no knife that costs that much.Could I "afford" one? Thats a question for each person and the answer varies, and not always based upon income and debt.
