Mostly off topic, but when Never-wet first came out I coated the bottom of a V hull RC boat with it. Increased top speed but very squirrely in the turns

I always wondered if that would work to increase speedboat speed. As for swords, there's always teflon coating, right?!

hmmm... i know titanium oxide can be made into a photo catalyst, for making self-cleaning outdoor paints. but it's also applied onto car windows and wind shields to wick out rain water (no droplets to obscure vision.)
