I just received this Mike Tison saddlehorn today. 3 3/4 inches closed, ATS-34, stainless liners and bolsters. Very clean and crisp work by Mike. What caught my eye was the carbon fiber scales. My memory may be faulty (probably is
) but I just don't recall seeing any carbon fiber on a traditional pattern. I know William Henry had a few model with CF and of course you see it on fixed blades. It works well with traditionals I think. I would not mind at all seeing more of it. Well done, Mr. Tison.
