I haven't found a price on the Tag Heuer yet but the Jarred near my house sells the T-Touch for $595. I'm torn because I like the aesthetics of both watches. Both carry a good reputation as well; the T-Touch has more bells and whistles but to me that just means more to go wrong. Still I am intrigued, if everything works as advertised then I imagine it would be a very cool watch. If anyone has any experience with either of these watches your input would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I have the T-Touch - going on 2 or 3 years now (I got it when they first came out). I've have no problems at all with it, and love how it has all the functions but doesn't look like a small space shuttle strapped to your wrist. Oh yeah, I finally just replaced the battery a week ago, so the battery drain is also minimal. Try it, you'll like it.

I have no experience with the Tissot you mention but I have a pile of Tags,
they have been my favorite watches for a long time and I have never had
any problems with them. The Tissot watches are also a good bet though
I know a few folks who swear by them.

I would get the Tag. I love the one I have been wearring for 7 almost 8 years.

Go with the F1 ;).

I have a quartz Tissot Quadrato Chrono. I daresay I payed too much for it... close to 600 CHF, but it was a souvenir from Switzerland. It's been great. My mom has an automatic Aquaracer-- same story. Both are tested, proven companies, and both should serve you well. It really comes down to what accessories and aesthetics you want.
Personally, I kind of like the looks of the new Tissot Sea-Touch. Modernized version of a classic design.

Personally I'd go for the T-Touch if those are the only choices. It has some really cool functions, with the Tag you're mostly paying for the name. I have an older Tag 1000 and it was a good value back then but I don't see them as being that way now.

Both are no doubt good watches but are at quite different price points for different markets. The TAG is more of a prestigious brand and will cost more. In my opinion the automatic movement is worth it. I feel the Tissot is overpriced for a quartz watch. Nothing against quartz movements, I have several, but to me quartz is for cheap 'beater' watches.
For example in my collection I have a Rolex Sea Dweller and an Omega Sea Master. As I do a bit of sailing one might think either would be perfect. But as any sailor knows, at the end of a trip your watch is caked in salt, so I only wear Casio or Seiko low end quartz models.
Okay, I do baby my prettys too much but, my choice.

it would be hard for me to choke up $600 for a tissot, man thats a lot for one of those, i suppose if ya like 'em that much though................
