I am thinking about wearing a watch again, and was curious about these. They look like one hell of a gadget.

Any opinions on them? Where is a good place to buy one?

Thanks!

I' ve always wanted one of these, in all titanium. Not just because it has a cool factor. But it is functional. I' ve worn a borrowed few on my wrists. And it is quite comfy, even the steel case models. But AFAIK, there is currently none of these with high quality lume! Or even simple lume. That is THE deal breaker for me. Otherwise I would have purchased one long ago. :(

Have a Tissot, but not the T-Touch. From what I've read, it's a love it or love to hate it watch due to its temperamental reliability. Of the Tissot line, it receives the most complaints on the watch forums with a Tissot presence.

Several suggestions. . . .

Before you purchase one online, make sure they're an authorized dealer. That way you're covered under warranty if a problem(s) arise.

Have you looked at Suunto ?

I've got a Quadrato Chrono, but not a T-Touch. They look like great watches, but I do think that there is a lot to go wrong.

I've had a T-Touch for 4 years now and really do like it.

Some of the features are slightly tricky though.

The temp feature works very well, except you have to take it off your wrist for about 15 min to get an accurate reading.

Compass is cool.

Altimiter is a little fussy and you do need to kind of calibrate it once in a while.

Overall it is a great watch. Sturdy and nice looking.

I'd shop around and buy from a real-life jeweler.
You may pay a little more, but you will most likely get cleaning and bateries for life.
I paid about $100 more than internet prices, but I have a relationship with a high-end jewelry watch store now and they have given me a couple outstanding deals since. They have changed batteries in other watches for free too.

It also has a low battery indicator ! The batt in the Tissot lasted 3.5 years.
