According to the ASTM spec, Grade 5 titanium (6AL-4V) is already annealed at 1750 deg. F, water quenched, and aged at 1000 deg. F for 4 hrs.

You should be able to repeat the process without degradation of original property performance.

At least that's what the resident M.E. just told me!
