I'm trying to do anodising for the first time,
and I would like to know what's the best for electrolyte?
Currently I'm using 10% baking soda, does it make a different if I change it to TSP?
And where I live, I can only buy TSP, but not TSP-PF, does it work too?

Thank you!

Coloring or hard anodizing? If for color, soda is the simplest. Anything else is toxic with little to no benefits in color. For hard anodizing, both are not good. Choice of Ti is more relevant to color.

This guy knows pretty much everything about anodizing Ti

i found a box of cascade that was made before they took the phosphates out of it. works great also now its hard to find. eagle one mag wheel etching cleaner is a fantastic pre ano etchant. makes getting the high volt colors a snap. a maker that was out sourcing ano for a production run was not getting the colors to pop like i was producing called me and i let them in on the combo i used they made a quick trip to the auto parts place and gave it a try. worked better then "production" Ti etchant they had been using. im guessing the ano solution was just fine
