Titanium Anodizing

Hey y’all! I’m thinking about experimenting with anodizing some of titanium knife scales. The process seems to be relatively straightforward—anything I should know or that I shouldn’t miss?

Electric. Plastic Tupperware, borax, and nine volt batteries.

 

[Spey]

Know voltage to color scale.
Pay close attention to color progression, so as not to over shoot desired color(s).
Sparks/Arcing can cause burns to your metals.
Make sure surfaces are CLEAN.
