Hello there. This is my first post here. I am not exactly sure how this works. Basically I was wondering if it would be possible to have a titanium backspacer made for my Para 2. I have seen a few floating around and I just think it would look cool. Thanks. Steeley

Well, first we'd have to know a few things about the measurements of the knife in question, which I own but have never taken specs to check. Then if we have that we can look to see what stand offs are available on the market currently in titanium. I only know of one that sells them and it is Sheffield Supply in Florida. I've used them in the JYDII model but I have no info on the spacing of the Spyderco. I'll just have to mic the one in there now and see what we have and get back to you once I know.

Hope that will suffice for now.

Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods.

Yeah I would not have anything to make them in the thickness needed. I only stock the thin .045 for my clips.

Anyway, preliminary caliper check seems to indicate that yes the stand off we want is .155-.157 and I get .155 with my own S30V Para 2 model. What I would suggest is that you simply call Sheffield yourself and order the part # STOFT for $3 each and when they arrive in the mail you can one at a time replace the ones in the folder now with these as pop in parts. I don't have the phone number but I'm sure Google does. These are listed as .152 and that is probably what it is but my caliper is just set wrong in all liklihood. Its close enough to garner that what is sold will work though as the inside of the Para 2 is .154. 155 and if they are .152 plus or minus that is still well within acceptable tolerances probably within the specs for Spyderco as they come from the factory. Thanks
