This is a difficult issue whether titanium or steel or aluminium
without knowing exactly what grit was used to polish the material when made you are simply guessing and the results will very likely be different than the current finish and you will have to go full bore and do all areas for a matching finish.
I would suggest contacting Spyderco and seeing if they will divulge the grit level or polishing method whether its like a scotchbrite finish or some other method.
Or just pick a level of polish you can accomplish at home and go for it.
If I wanted a matte finish on that I'd beadblast it, if I wanted to recreate the original satin finish I'd use Scotchbrite in the same direction as the original finish (Bolster off the knife for both cases, light pressure on the Scotchbrite to avoid rounding the edges).
Live with it and it will get even more scratches and you won't notice it as much. Flitz won't remove scratches unless the metal is pretty soft (e.g. like nickel silver) but it may work with a fair amount of elbow grease.
When I remove scratches, I start with 400 grit until the scratch is gone and then go upwards in grit to a grit that gives me the finish I want. Usually not more than 1000 with a Flitz polish. When I switch grits I sand in the opposite direction. As noted, be careful not to round out any edges. It's a PITA so I don't do it often.
