Titanium & Carbon Fiber questions

I've worked CF before, so I have a good idea of what I can do with it, but can titanium be cut with a regular hacksaw blade? Can it be drilled with a regular drill bit and press? Can it be filed with a regular file?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm contemplating making a set of mala beads (used in various meditation practices) out of titanium and carbn fiber beads. Traditional mala strands are 108 beads, so there would be a lot of fabrication involved and I may go insane doing it all by hand. Anyway, does anyone know if I can get pieces of titanium and/or CF that is about 1/2" square?

1/2" square Titanium is very rare.
1/2 " carbon fiber is also rare.
Ti can be drilled and cut with fresh clean new saws, drill and blades as long as the speed and feed you are cutting is correct (SLOW).
