- Ergonomic and fully functional simple design
- Carbidized Edge - 72 Rockwell Tungsten Carbide stays sharp for a long time and can be self sharpening on some materials such as cardboard
- It has a bottle opener that works very well
- Easy deployment from the wallet because of strategically placed grooves that feel great in the hand. Grab it quickly and easily.

- The carbidized edge is great for light sawing, use it to make a notch in wood for starting fires or other survival uses
- Easy to sharpen microbevel on opposite of main chisel grind
- Unsharpened swedge; this helps the knife go in the wallet or sheath

Blowing your money on quench oil! :D lol that stuff will serve you right on the quest for hamon and hardening steels with a fast quench time with minimal distortion.

Keep up the great work by the way, it keeps getting better over each set of photos you send me. Your damascus was incredible!

Curious if one side could be vice and the other side green... MY GREEN CARD. Or solid gold... ???

Not yet with my setup on the Vice/Green. These go more of a bronze with the finish they have than gold.

I tried to get you a green one but I wasn't getting the green I wanted on the whole card... after three tries I turned it to the camo one! The green to purple is a really good green though.

Solid Gold has been done. to. death.

;) ;) ;)

lol that's right! I had teams working in shifts on those!

Bako- nah I meant, gold one side, vice the other. I saw the gold one and passed in hopes of a green one both sides :)

One of these is going to Tahiti!

My wife Sara is mailing out knives today, one goes to Hawaii, one to New Zealand and more here on the mainland! I need someone in Alaska to buy a knife and I think that will be all 50 states.

What's up, Count Squatchula? How was the day off? Hope the birthday festivites were grand!

Eating my new cereal that just came out... it has new knife shaped marshmallows in it!

We just got in from taking Jade out for the day! I don't think I have ever seen her so excited, she must know it is her first birthday! She pigged out on Mexican food (lol she eats anything, radishes and guacamole were two favorites!) and then we went to the park. I had some barbacoa that was just nuts, I love it.

I saw a big shop for rent in town, it was really interesting. It is right across from "the wall", an old wall built in town to stop fires from spreading back in the 1800's. Talk about cool and it was big too...

What have you been up to!

I hope everyone had a great day.

Could this server suck, like, more? :D

I'm in the middle of reading a sentence, and the damn thing refreshes itself, and doesn't show 2/3 of the posts in this thread while making my HDD spin like an Iranian Centrifuge.

Just another day in Dangertown, really. Did the whole traditional Russian caviar app for the boss- Beluga N' Blini with the traditional chopped onion, capers, sour cream, and chopped egg yolks and whites. Then a Veal rib chop. One day just blends to the next.

One thing I really still get a kick out of, foodwise, is Barbacoa! We've had so many Mexicans arrive over the last 10 years, at rush hour, my street looks like the Mexican Tour De France. I feel like I should be out there holding cups of water for them as they ride by! Those guys can cook their asses off, and as I've found of a lot of guys from Central America, they can sharpen the crap out of just about anything. Having spent my entire life associated with the food trade, I'm pretty jaded and I generally abhor restaurants for the frivolity and wastefulness of the industry, and the fact that most restaurants suck like a lonely, chubby White House intern in an Oval Office Crawl Space. I avoid them unless it's something that's new to me, or somehow beyond my ken to produce better myself. That being said, bring on the 'coa, and carnitas, Cabron!

I tell all my Mexican friends this, to great delight:

What did the Mexican guy say when two houses fell on him?

(in best LA Cholo voice)

"Ehhh, get offa me, homes!"

:D

Yo Daniel, what finish cards are left?? thnx.

edit: hmmm so are the ones pictures the ones left.. I think I see a pattern...

edit: I like to notice one thing then go write about it.. then see something else and edit again.. so uhm, can a full spectrum or camo turn into a solid green or solid gold.. since one side gold one side vice is out of the question. cheers, more wine!
