Titanium Damascus .45ACP Bead

My Chad Nichols Damascus bead arrived ahead of expectations. My initial thought was to put this on the Ole Glory that I have on order. Buuuuuut, that's a long ways away. Sooooo, I'm thinkin' that since my X-Tac .45 1911 was actually the inspiration for my Zaan purchase; then why not load the 45 onto the Mighty Zaan.

Ok, since the 45 is just dangling from the lanyard, obviously it's just temporary. I'm going to search for a lanyard in either Deep Purple or Deep Burgundy and then my Daughter is going to knot it for me. I think Chad did a spectacular job on the titanium, the color pallet is amazing. One of these days (when I can stop buying guns & knives) I'm going to graduate into a DSLR camera so I can take my photos to the next level. In the meantime, here's an attempt at what the bead looks like.

That is beautiful!

And original. I think a burgundy lanyard would complete the whole set up. Looking good:thumbup:
 
Beautiful.. can I recommend a "Dark Stripes" Rainbow lanyard, "Galaxy" Rainbow type lanyard, or "Electric Blue"?
 
Thanks RR84 & BC777, I'm wide open to lanyard color recommendations. Funny, I saw RR84's burgundy in another post and it really resonated with me, although I nearly dropped an electric-blue lanyard in my cart at the time I ordered the bead. I have a deep-purple but it's not quite deep or subdued enough, although it gives me a good indication that the bead will blend in nicely with the purple; which is what I would prefer as opposed to the bead standing out too much.

Thank you for the kind offer and the pics too. The Galaxy cord is wild, very appealing. I especially love the Plum Crazy; in fact, Chad makes another titanium Damascus 45 bead that's almost the exact same turquoise/aqua color as the primary color of the Plum Crazy cord.
 
I love the Galaxy cord, I'm going to order 100ft. of it next time I re-up on paracord.
Yeah the Plum Crazy is gorgeous. The guy I found those colors through though charges more than I'm willing to pay.
But my regular Paracord place has the Galaxy. =]
I'm also going to grab a couple of extra beads.
 
Loving the bead brother. Ive seen the other one your taking about it looks sick too thinking about picking it up.
