Sorry to add another "What knife should i get" thread. I am looking for a Titanium Frame Lock that is built really well. Something that is just built like a tank. My budget is $200, otherwise i would already have a Sebenza. (haha) Any recommendations?

Ok i will check search on here some. I currently have a zt0350 in my pocket right now, so It'd be kinda nice to go for a different brand than zero tolerance. Sorry I'm a little picky.

Not quite a tank but a Ti framelock for about $200.

Get a ZT 0551 or 0550. You aren't going to find much better if at all, for $200.

I doubt it ;)
ZT0301 or ZT0551
Try searching the forums using keyword "framelock"
You forgot the ZT 0550 <_<

While it would be "nice" to go for something other than ZT, I sincerely doubt you'll find a thicker slab of titanium than what's in the 055X series. Also, the knife fits your hand like a glove, the opening is Axis lock smooth(which might need some breaking in), it's a collaboration with Rick Hinderer, and it uses third generation wear resistant, high corrosion resistance Powder Metal stainless steel which is near impossible to chip at Rc 60-62 and takes a razor fine edge. What more could you possibly want?

Or you know...save up for a Kershaw Tilt.

That's different enough right? And given that the steel would have similar wear resistance to S90V, I don't see why not:thumbup:.

ZT 0300 or 0301.

ZT 0200

ZT 0551 or 0550(when it becomes available.

hese are probably the toughest folders available in that price range.

You might get some ideas from this thread. You might have to do some research on prices, though.:D

Ti framelock pics

BTW: The ZT Ti framelocks are, like many posters have said, the best bang for the buck in under $200 Ti framelocks. The Military Ti is another nice one, but as singularity35 said, I wouldn't call it a tank. A solid slicer, though.

DPx HEST Folder.

From what I have seen, it looks like it's going to be a great knife.

Built like a tank, good blade steel, and Ti framelock.
All for $175 for the production version.

Look it up.

Save up for the Sebenza, bro' -- you can get a small plain for $330 new (less for used, and they do show up on the Sales Forum here from time to time), so you're 2/3's the way there already!

I'd have to agree. After owning & using just about all of the ones mentioned, & then some, I keep going back to a Seb.

If not, I'd probably say the Bradley Alias (I or II) or the Spyderco Sage II. The Buck/Mayo TNT & Burke Rockstar are very good knives, but I just detest tip-down. However, they're excellent choices if TD's not an issue.

A Bradley Alias II is my first choice, followed by the Buck Mayo.
