titanium frame lock

I second the Nathawut suggestion. He did a framelock conversion for my CQC-10 and Combat Karambit.

The standard by which all framelock conversions must be measured is Reese Weiland, the first and still premier conversion artist of Emersons.

2nded

Reese might take a while, but I stand by his work.

Can I ask how much you paid for that CQC-7, and Combat Karambit and how much I can pick up a used one for? I haven't ever had an Emerson. I'm interested in them now...

IMHO Phil Bruckerhoff (ferrrk) has equaled if not surpassed Mr. Weiland.

I concur that Phil is one of the very best at pimping an Emerson - I've owned a few, and he's quite good. For a bolstered version of a prodo, he's as good as anyone.

But for a framelock, I would still vote Reese - his touch is just short of magic.

I'd match ferrrk's magic with anyone's. My poor photo skills can't do his work justice.

Can't believe no one commented on this yet, that is one SICK knife! Looks amazing.

It feels great in the hand with it's added weight from the thick Ti scales which are also somewhat rounded. I love the Jim. Smaller Emerson with a big bite.
