Got this one finished up today. Still have to do the clip though.

That's a very nice knife! Someday I will attempt this and if it comes out 1/4 that nice I will be happy! Good job.

Thank you! You can do it. But, I warn you, when you do start you will be addicted.

Thanks for the comments

That turned out REALLY nice!! Love the shape of the handle, blade, and overall when open. Really good looking piece.

Love the open construction with the standoffs instead of the "old" backspacer deal! Not a big fan of backspacers! Think standoffs look so much cleaner and just make the build look better overall! Beautiful knife!

Oh yea. I turned the standoffs down a little too.

You do some great work! I really like the 2 tone finish on that blade. Any chance of you doing a lefty version?

Cool blade finish. Do you stone wash the blade and then put it back on the surface grinder?

Thanks. And yes. I stonewashed it then took it back to the grinder. Then hand sanded the flats to 600 grit. This was my first attempt and it came out pretty nice. It was a lot more work though.

This looks really well made and designed. Props.

A question: Are the holes in the front 'bolster' for the stop pin? They look submerged or not even present? I'm confused there.

A comment from someone acutely aware of promotion: Never, EVER, post an incomplete project with mediocre photos. I know, I know, in your exuberance you wish to share it, but the highest rewards come from waiting for completion and then taking proper time to show it clearly. :D (Your photos are clear. You can do even better if you study that area of knifemaking. ;)) It's all related.

"You only get one chance to make a great first impression."

You are going to do great. Keep it UP!
