Hello,

Today I received my second titanium framelock, an SG2 JYD blem. Two days ago, I received my first, the equally amazing Sage 2. What is next on the list of must have titanium framelocks? I am expecting a lot Sebenza suggestions, but it is a lot of money. Are there other titanium framelocks that are cheaper that are also must haves?

Thanks,

Matt

Benchmade 760BK
Benchmade 755 MPR
Bradley Alias 1 or 2
Buck Mayo TNT

I'll second all the ones mentioned so far, and add a few that I know of:

Benchmade 630/635 (discontinued)
Benchmade 10700 Nagara (discontinued/moved into the Harley-Davidson line)

RIL Military, ZT30X, Strider (SnG / SMF), Sebenza. In that order. :)

ZT0300
SnG
Sebenza
Ti Military

The new Spyderco Chinese Lum is soon out in Ti. I've seen them for about 120.
But, I looked at the picture again and it's a liner lock.

the thing about the sebenza (and mnandi and umnumzaan) is that you can find them in the exchange for a lot less than retail. if you're patient you can pick one up for not much more than a lot of the other Ti framelocks on the market. also, the BM nakara isn't a framelock, it has the nak-lock IIRC.

I have one of these. It is manufactured very poorly. I contacted BM several times regarding up and down/left right play and never received a response. Thanks for all of the responses.

Its pretty tough to get an answer out of most production knife companies through email. Give them a call, they will set you up in minutes!

Excluding the Sebenza, I would recommend these three Ti framelocks because not only are they my favorite titanium framelocks that I own, but they're also just about my favorite knives I own period, again besides the Sebenza.

Buck TNT

Spyderco Sage 2

Benchmade 635 Mini Skirmish.

If you like a blade size of around 3.3"(which is my absolute favorite) then I think you will really dig these knives.

All still in production:

From upper left CW: BM 755 MPR; ZT-301; Boker Haddock; and BM 790 Subrosa. The first three listed are part Ti/part G10 handled - with Ti-framelocks. The ZT-301 & BM 790 are assisted opening. The Boker Haddock is a bit difficult to find - Boker-USA is apparently out.

Stainz

I have a tiny collection of titanium framed knives with just the 1590GR and Sage 2 being frame lockers. Next up for me is ZT302 and BM Skirmish.
