Ive long been a fan of the Grayman Sub-Saharan series of fixed blades. Recently a limited run of titanium knives was made and 2 Sub-Saharans were in that batch (the 7 and 8). I received my 7 and did some testing and review.
First, the fit and finish is better than on previous models. Not perfect lines and seamless mating of handle and scale but close. Balance point is right ahead of the G10 scale, just about at the choil. This fits beautifully in the hand and moves well. Even though its .27inch thick its very light (thats Ti) and moves quickly and easily in the hand.
Out of the box the knife was able to slice paper. It made quick work of cardboard and 550 cord as well. The sheath is a darker color than previously (a coyote brown or so) and fits very well. It seems they have a new maker or Tuff just started marking the sheaths.

Info from Grayman:
6AL/4V Titanium Blade w/Carbide Edge
This knife is a good choice when you work in a corrosive environment or require light weight.
We add a layer of carbide to the edge of the Titanium for optimal edge retention. The carbides provide a micro serrated edge that is impregnated into the blade. Carbide is extremely hard, and significantly increases the edge holding capabilities of titanium.
To sharpen all you do is take a couple of strokes on the non-coated side, and with use the blade will even sharpen itself as the Ti is worn down more quickly than the harder carbide edge.
The knives are shipped with Type 316 stainless steel screws which provide excellent corrosion resistance and may be mildly magnetic. Remove the handle and screws with a hex key if you need a completely non-magnetic knife. Each of the knives shown below is a Titanium version of our existing 1095 blades.
