Has anyone ordered one? What did you pay? How long was the wait? Would you rather have bought the Aluminum Handled one instead?

Hi Scooter!

Thanks for your interest in SPEEDTECH knives.

We are no longer offering the titanium handled Synergy as we could not produce the solid, one-piece handle design to our quality and tolerance standards for an affordable price.

A lot of money and time was spent prototyping the titanium handle, but every path we pursued still yielded a very costly product which we thought was prohibitive to the marketplace.

We also found that most of our customers seemed to prefer the lighter weight aluminum handle in the color of their choice.

My next knife may be a Speed-Tech. Are there any shops in the S.F. Bay Area where I may handle a Speed-Tech?
