TITANIUM JYDII & MINI CYCLONE Blade Shapes?

Actually, the grinds are different on the Titanium vs. reg. Model JYDII. See the picture below. I was wondering if anyone knew whether they did something similar on the titanium mini cyclone. They added a lanyard hole on the Ti JYD version. I also took a picture of the 2 JYDII blade tips which are quite different. They chose the handle rivot pattern from the smaller JYDI instead of the same as the G10 JYDII of the same size. I think these were all great choices.
 
looks like I found all my answers in a lengthy thread by Thomas... I'm often a Johnny come lately. Although, hopefully you'll find my blade tip comparison interesting ;)
 
Any idea if you can fit a G10 handle and liner from a JYDII on the Ti/SG2 version, so that you would have a Ti frame lock on one side and G10 on the other?

You'd have to do some modifying. The butt end screw is in a different position on the titanium version to accomodate the lanyard hole. It might be possible to drill another hole in the g10 for a screw and enlarge the existing hole to the size of the lanyard hole. I'm not going to mess with it because I like the all titanium look to this one. Plus the rivot patterns are different. see the pictures above.
 
That tip is scary-thin on what I assume is the Ti version. Looks like a deep hollow grind as opposed to the flat grind on the regular.

I like the looks of the deep hollow grind on the Ti/SG2 version... I've gotta get one...can't wait much longer... :cool:
