Titanium leaf spring?

Does anybody use, of know of anyone using titanium for a leaf spring in an automatic? I have player around with it and it works well, fires with real authority. I figured that since titanium has a memory, and you don't have to heat treat it that it would make a good spring. It is also lighter, and stronger in relation to regular springs.
