Do such things exist?

If they do I'd love to see them and/or purchase one. I have a few SS lockbacks (Enduras and Delicas) but am interested to see one in Ti.

Anyone have any leads?

Buck made a Ti handled version of the 110 a few years ago, I think they can still be found a little here and there.

Spyderco Herbst - the first ones had titanium handles, then they went to aluminum. The titanium is really classy!

I carried a Spyderco Titanium Police for 10 years. It was retired on the advice of Customer Service due to a factory defect in the lock. Too bad I did that 'cause some kid stole it from my desk drawer. Perhaps you can find one on Ebay or at a gunshow. It's a discontinued model, I think they are valued around 300.00.

I wish they would bring that one back. Due to the size of the handle, it made for a light carry, much slimmer than G-10 as well.

I just bought the last Buck 560 from Rivers Edge in Columbus Ohio. :D JM is 100% correct about the spring. The knife is amazingly light compared to a 110, as you'd expect.

I believe the Herbst, although very classy, always had a liner lock.

One of the first knives I got was around twenty years ago from the Sharper Image catalog - A Schrade lockback with titanium scales. No thumbstud, though, just a nail nick. I don't know if there were thumbstuds on knives at the time.

I still have it in mint condition, as it's rarely looked at - except when a knife magazine does a retrospective on the company and they mention it in passing or show a picture of it.

Yeah the Buck 560 is great, it has the strongest backspring I have ever seen in a lockback. Here's one : Buck 560

Have to agree! But then again, I am a Buck nut! Also comes in some colors! Here's 3....

Cool Clydetz. Is that bottom one an auto? I tried a regular 110 auto today and it was slick.

Bottom one is an auto conversion. Have a few 110 conversions; the 112's are nice too! :D

I don't know how the 560 slipped my mind. I actually have one too. I just wish it had a clip.

Now the Ti Police has my attention. I may have to start looking around for one of those.

A more affordable version of the Ti Police can be had in the little Spydie Necklace. It's a lockback, and has the Ti handle, but it may not make the best EDC.:D They are going for around $40 on ebay. I have one in my pocket right now! :D

I don't like metal handled knives, but the spyderco chapparal titanium is awesome enough for even me to like it.

LOL, nearly 10 year old thread.

Delica in Ti and Damascus is coming this year.
