Titanium Pocket clip, ideas?

I am trying to design a pocket clip for a folder and I know I can use 0.04" thick Ti to bend something.

I was wondering what other thicknesses could be used to carve the clip?

Or if you guys have any other ideas about clips?

I use .14 titanium for the scales and the same material for the clips. A little thicker will be fine but it depends on the knife. The upper roller on a belt grinder works well to hollow out the spring and a slack belt makes it all perdy.

Hey Brian,

I've made one from 0.050" Ti, but that's because it was the same stock as my liners. Bending them cold is definitely not fun, I'm going to build a brake for this batch like the ones here http://www.knifewerks.com/Tools/Clip_Brake.htm and here http://usaknifemaker.com/fellhoelter-clip-brake-with-5-32-pin-and-1-2-roller.html . I don't think you could go much thicker, unless you started doing sculpted/milled pocket clips.
