So I have been doing a little research and have not come up with anything that really answers the question.

What is the best way to remove scratches and restore the appearance of Titanium scales?

I have a blast cabinet and a media tumbler but what media should I use? Or should I not beadblast or stonewash?

Titanium is a great material, refinishes great.

Depending on the original finish (if that's what you want to achieve) then you could pick the proper finishing method.

For stonewash, polish the blade to a high grit removing all scratches, then drop in the tumbler with some media, depending on your desired finish select the proper bite of the media.

Blasting shouldn't require any more prep than selecting the media you want to use, depending on how coarse or smooth you want the finish.

I want a nice smooth mate finish. I was thinking that the tumbler would be good so I don't have to switch the media I have in the cabinet out.

A blast followed by media tumbling could look pretty cool, worth a shot.

Ceramic? what media options do you have?

You can also hand sand or use scotch brite pads, the scotch brite finish looks pretty cool IMO.

there are tons of media options...that is what I am asking about....which ones have other members tried with success.
